Answers to your questions
What does Mess Mate cost?
৳2.78 per day, including VAT and SD, billed directly through your Robi or Cirkle number. No card is ever required, and you can cancel any time from Profile in the app.
Which numbers can subscribe?
Robi (018) and Cirkle (016) numbers. The subscription is billed by the operator, so a number on any other network cannot be charged for it and the sign-up will not complete.
Do I need internet to use it?
Yes. Mess Mate reads and writes live, so your seat, the rent figures and today’s meal counts are the same on everybody’s phone at the same moment.
Can I run a mess and live in one?
Yes. One account can administer messes and be a resident of a mess, and the app shows you both sides.
What if the admin will not let me leave?
Ask once, and the admin can approve or decline. Ask a second time once you are square on rent and meals, and if the admin has not acted within three days you can leave on your own.
How do I cancel?
In the app it is Profile → Unsubscribe. Your operator confirms the cancellation first, and only then is the account closed — you cannot end up locked out while still being billed.
Is it safe to install the APK directly?
Yes. The APK is hosted directly on this site and has not been modified. Android shows a standard “install unknown apps” warning for any app installed outside the Play Store — this is expected, not a sign of a problem.
