Terms of Service

Last updated

By using TaqwaDaily, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy.

1. Using the app

TaqwaDaily gives you access to Qur'anic text, translations, audio recitation, tafsir, prayer times, Qibla direction and related tools. You agree to use the app respectfully and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service or the third-party data providers it relies on.

2. Account & sign-in

You sign in using your phone number and a one-time code sent by SMS. You're responsible for keeping access to that phone number secure — anyone who can receive your OTP can access your account.

3. Content accuracy

We source Qur'anic text, translations, tafsir, hadith and prayer timings from established third-party datasets and calculation services. While we aim for accuracy, TaqwaDaily is a companion tool and not a substitute for guidance from a qualified scholar on matters of religious ruling.

4. Location & sensor access

Prayer Times and Qibla use your device's location and, where available, its compass sensor. These permissions are optional — declining them will fall back to approximate defaults rather than blocking the rest of the app.

5. Acceptable use

6. Availability

Some features depend on external services (audio, translation, hadith and prayer-time providers). Occasional interruptions to those services are outside our control, and we'll do our best to degrade gracefully rather than break the whole app.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continuing to use TaqwaDaily after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact option in Settings, or via the details on our About page.
