Terms of Service

1. Accepting these terms

By verifying your mobile number and using TaqwaDailys, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not complete verification, and unsubscribe if you already have.

2. What the service is

TaqwaDailys is a reading and reference application. It provides:

• The Quran in Arabic with Bangla and English translations, verse recitation and tafsir footnotes
• Seven hadith collections with search and Bangla rendering on request
• Prayer times for your location, a monthly timetable and the Ramadan schedule
• A qibla compass, a tasbih counter, daily supplications and the ninety-nine Names

It is a study aid, not a religious authority. It does not issue rulings and is not a substitute for a qualified scholar.

3. Your number and verification

Access is tied to a single mobile number. You confirm that the number you enter belongs to you and that you are authorised to incur charges on it. A one-time code is sent by SMS; entering it confirms the number.

Keep your device secure. Anyone with access to your unlocked device and its SMS can complete verification on your behalf.

4. Subscription and billing

• The price is ৳2.78 per day, inclusive of applicable taxes where they apply.
• Billing is by direct carrier billing: your operator deducts the amount from your mobile balance once per day while the subscription is active.
• Charging begins after successful verification, or immediately if your number is already a registered subscriber.
• If your balance is insufficient, the charge fails and access pauses until a later charge succeeds. Failed charges do not accumulate as a debt.
• Operator charges, tariffs and any data charges for using the app are matters between you and your operator.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from Settings → Danger zone → Unsubscribe or from the Subscription page. Cancellation stops the next daily charge. Access continues to the end of the day already paid for.

Because the billing period is a single day, amounts already charged are not refunded. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us from the number concerned and we will investigate with your operator.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download or redistribute the content as your own service
• Attempt to bypass verification, billing or access controls
• Interfere with the service, its providers, or other people's use of it
• Use the service unlawfully, or to present altered religious text as authentic

Access may be suspended where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.

7. Religious content and accuracy

The Arabic text, translations, hadith collections and tafsir notes come from published third-party sources and are reproduced in good faith. Translation is interpretation: renderings differ between scholars, and prayer times are astronomical calculations that may differ by a minute or two from your local mosque.

Where accuracy matters — a ruling, a fast, a prayer time you rely on — verify against your local mosque or a qualified scholar. We correct reported errors as quickly as we can.

8. Availability

We aim to keep TaqwaDailys available continuously, but it depends on third-party content and network services and is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, and content sources may be replaced with equivalent ones.

9. Intellectual property

The Quran and hadith are not owned by anyone. The application's design, code, layout and original wording are ours. Translations, tafsir notes and audio recitations remain the property of their respective publishers and reciters and are used under their terms.

You may copy and share individual verses, narrations and duas freely, including from the copy and share buttons in the app.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of TaqwaDailys is limited to the subscription amounts you paid in the thirty days before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for decisions taken solely on the basis of content in the app.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. Continuing to use TaqwaDailys after that date means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, unsubscribe.
