Hidayahs

About

Built for the reading, not for the scrolling.

Hidayahs is a digital companion for Bangla-speaking Muslims — the Quran, hadith, prayer times, qibla, duas and tasbih in one place, designed to be calm enough to actually use every day.

وَرَتِّلِ ٱلْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا

And recite the Quran with measured recitation.

Al-Muzzammil 73:4

Our mission

Most Islamic apps are loud. Flashing banners, stacked cards, a dozen colours competing for the same glance. That noise sits badly against what the content actually asks of you — attention, and a bit of quiet.

So we built the opposite. Ivory paper, one accent colour, generous margins, and typography that treats an ayah the way a good book would. The Arabic is large because it should be. The interface gets out of the way because it should.

Everything is in Bangla and English, works on the phone you already have, and costs less than a cup of tea per week.

The story

How it came together

01

A reading problem

It started with a simple complaint: the Arabic was always too small, and the Bangla translation was always an afterthought squeezed underneath it.

02

One place, not five apps

Prayer times in one app, qibla in another, a tasbih counter in a third. We put the whole daily routine behind a single sign-in.

03

Billing that anyone can use

No card, no wallet, no bank account. Your Robi or Cirkle balance is enough, and cancelling takes one tap.

04

A quieter second edition

This version strips the interface back to paper and ink — editorial layouts, hairline rules, and colour used only where it carries meaning.

What we hold to

01

The text comes first

Nothing on the screen should compete with the ayah. Controls fade, the words stay.

02

Your data stays yours

Bookmarks, tasbih counts and reading position live on your device, not on our servers.

03

No dark patterns

One price, stated plainly. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing, and it is never hidden.

04

Bangla is not a translation layer

It is a first-class language here, set in a typeface that was made for it.

Questions, corrections, or a bug?

Accuracy in the text matters more than anything else here. If you spot an error in a translation or a prayer time, tell us and we will fix it.
