Accepting these terms

When you enter your mobile number, verify the code we send, and continue into the application, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not complete the sign-in.

Eligibility

You need an active Robi or Cirkle prepaid or postpaid number in Bangladesh, and you must be the person entitled to authorise charges on that number. Numbers on other operators cannot be billed for this service.

Your account

Your account is tied to your mobile number. Keep the one-time verification code to yourself — anyone with the code and the number can sign in as you. If you lose access to the number, you lose access to the account.

Bookmarks, tasbih counts and reading position are stored on the device you are using, not on our servers, so they do not follow you to a new phone.

Subscription and billing

• The service costs ৳2.78 per day. There is only one plan.
• The charge is taken from your mobile balance by direct carrier billing, once per day, automatically.
• The subscription renews each day until you cancel it. There is no fixed term.
• If your balance is insufficient, the charge may be retried and access can be paused until it succeeds.
• Charges already taken for days you have used are not refundable.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Settings or the Subscription page. Cancelling stops the next daily charge. You keep access for the remainder of the day already paid for, and nothing further is deducted.

We may suspend or end an account that abuses the service, attempts to bypass billing, or breaches these terms.

Religious content and accuracy

The Quran text, translations, hadith collections, prayer times and qibla direction are supplied by third-party sources. We present them faithfully and correct errors as soon as we learn of them, but we cannot guarantee that every entry is free of mistakes.

Prayer times are calculated estimates that vary with the calculation method you choose. For matters of religious obligation, confirm with your local mosque or a qualified scholar. Hidayahs is a reading aid, not a religious authority.

Acceptable use

• Use the service for your own personal, non-commercial reading.
• Do not attempt to bypass the verification or billing process.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the content as your own service.
• Do not use automated tools to overload the application or its data sources.

Availability

We aim to keep Hidayahs available at all times, but the service depends on your network, your operator, and external data providers. Interruptions can happen, and features that rely on an outside service may be temporarily unavailable.

Intellectual property

The Hidayahs name, design, layout and code belong to us. The scriptural text itself is not owned by anyone; translations and hadith compilations remain the property of their respective publishers and are used in accordance with their terms.

Limitation of liability

Hidayahs is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, from an inaccuracy in third-party content, or from a missed prayer time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects the price or how billing works, we will show the new terms before the change takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of its courts.
